Some surprising results shook up the Moore League basketball standings over the last two weeks.
On the boys’ side, Millikan jumped over Long Beach Poly thanks to Rob Diaz’s buzzer-beater against Compton, and then Compton and Lakewood’s upset wins over Long Beach Poly last week. The game at Millikan on the last night of the regular season between the Rams and Jackrabbits will decide the league title.
On the girls’ side, Long Beach Poly is still undefeated and the Jackrabbits lead over second-place Millikan got bigger last week when Wilson upset the Rams on Friday.
