Long Beach Poly had three boys and three girls reach the Masters tournament last season in coach Kenneth Lee’s first year, and he’s pushing his program to match that mark again.
Senior Austin Siv, junior Peter Khim and junior Oscar Patino have taken over the leadership positions as team captains. Siv was the junior varsity captain last year. Lee said that senior Elisha Godfrey will be a key newcomer.
On the girls’ side, senior Christine Jane Yuson and sophomore Krystal Molina are the team captains. Yuson (150) is the defending league champion, and Molina is back from injury and hungry to make an impact.
