Boys’ Lacrosse: Long Beach Poly And Wilson Share Moore League Title

For the first time in the five-year history of Moore League boys’ lacrosse, there were co-champions atop the standings in 2025. Longtime rivals Long Beach Poly and Wilson split their head-to-head matchups this season and will also share the Moore League crown after finishing with 11-1 league records.

This season represents the second league title for both programs, with Poly winning the first ever Moore League boys’ lacrosse title in 2021. Wilson won its first title in 2023, with Millikan claiming the top spot in the other two seasons.

The Jackrabbits took control of the title hunt early on with a thrilling overtime win at Wilson back on March 13.

However, the Bruins got their revenge on April 1 when they traveled to Poly and locked down a 5-3 victory, forcing a tie for first place.

Both teams earned a spot in the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs, which begin next week.
