The Long Beach State men’s basketball team’s season came to an end in an 83-69 loss to Cal Poly, which dropped the Beach’s record to 7-25 overall. The Beach finished 10th in the Big West, their worst finish since 2004, which kept them out of the conference tournament for the first time since that season.
It was also the team’s lowest win total in a non-shortened season since 2007-08, when longtime coach Dan Monson went 6-25.
