The Long Beach Poly girls’ soccer team continued its run through the CIF Southern Section Division 3 playoffs on Friday, as the Moore League champs came from behind on the road to knock off Pacifica, 2-1.
The Jackrabbits trailed 1-0 at halftime but got second half goals from Leah Salas and Makayla Quesada, who boosted Poly into the quarterfinals. The Jackrabbits will stay on the road, traveling to Culver City Tuesday for the quarterfinals. If Poly wins they’d advance to next Saturday’s semifinal round against the winner of Buena and Valley View.
