This week is the perfect time to give back to the Veterans community, and the Lakewood softball team did exactly that at Heartwell Park.
The Lancers hosted a clinic for local Veteran Dustin Scott’s 6U Heartwell softball team. Dustin served in the United States Marine Corps and courageously fought in two tours in Iraq, 2002 and 2006.
“Lakewood softball wanted to thank Dustin for his service by hosting the clinic,” Lakewood coach Andy Miramontes said.
