The St. Anthony Saints started Del Rey League play on the right foot by beating Cantwell Sacred Heart 43-24 on the road Friday night.
Jasiah Lolesio-Pua had three touchdowns for the Saints while Nate Martinez scored on two rushing touchdowns. Christian Martinez caught a touchdown pass and kicked a 24-yard field goal in the win.
The Saints only led 27-24 headed to the fourth quarter where they dominated the line of scrimmage against their worn out hosts.
St. Anthony (2-4, 1-0) visits La Salle next week in another league matchup.
