The Cabrillo Jaguars (1-3, 0-1) head up the 710 to face the Compton Tarbabes (2-3, 0-1) tonight, as both teams are looking to gain their first win in Moore League.
Last week, the Jaguars started off hot against Millikan, yet the Rams buttoned down the hatches to beat Cabrillo, 56-13. On the other hand, Compton couldn’t find anything going against Lakewood, and they were shut-out by the Lancers.
In last year’s contest, Compton grinded out a sloppy 13-6 win against the Jaguars. With each team having new faces and identities, upper-classman leadership and team execution will be the keys into deciding who gains their first Moore League win.
Kick-off is at 7 p.m. at Compton College.
