Long Beach Poly hosts Jordan tonight at Veterans Memorial Stadium at 7pm, with the Jackrabbits (0-3) looking for their first win of the season. Poly has lost three games to the No. 11, No. 16, and No. 17 teams in the state, and will be hungry to perform well against against the Panthers (1-3).

The big question we’ve been getting for the last 24 hours is will transfer quarterback Madden Iamaleava be cleared for the Jackrabbits this evening? We wouldn’t expect it, but stranger things have happened. Most likely, Deuce Jefferson will get the start for Poly as the Jackrabbits try to improve on their slow offensive output thus far–with no games scoring more than three touchdowns.

The key for Jordan will be keeping that Poly offense sputtering, while trying to get something going themselves. The Panthers scored just one touchdown last week in a loss to La Mirada.

Poly will host Lakewood next week while Jordan will have a bye before traveling to Millikan.
