The Cabrillo co-ed badminton team earned a back-to-back championship, clinching their fourth league title and marking the sixth overall league title triumph in the school’s history.

The Jaguars recently secured a 20-1 victory over the Jordan Panthers led by seasoned seniors Jasmin Ramos and Joaquin Orozco. The Jaguars’ dominance was undisputed, as they swept through league play with an undefeated 10-0 record.

Head coach Russian Joe Galima, honored as the 2024 Coach of the Year, praised the team’s unwavering dedication and relentless training.

“Cabrillo stayed motivated throughout the year and trained hard during the season,” Galima said. “I applaud their determination and commitment to defend the championship, motivating each other and upholding a high standard in the program. They believed in my lineup and they executed.”
