The562.org is pleased to announce our latest sport-specific sponsor is Long Beach FC, a local semi-pro club that has stepped up to sponsor all of The562’s coverage of Long Beach soccer for the CIF playoffs.
The sponsorship will support our coverage of soccer at the high school and collegiate level with articles, photos, videos, feature stories, and more.
“Long Beach FC is proud to sponsor The562.org’s coverage of local soccer,” said Willie L. Alexander III, Co-Founder and leader of Community Outreach & Digital Marketing for Long Beach FC. “We’re nothing without the Long Beach community and it has already shown us so much love and support so we appreciate that and we want to give back as much as we can. It’s a joy to see how much passion the local high school boys and girls have for the sport of soccer and the beautiful game. It makes us proud that we can help elevate that and tell their stories alongside The562.”
The Long Beach FC mission says it is “Driven by our passion for the beautiful game and the transformative power of sports. Our mission is to create a positive impact in our community by bringing people together and changing the culture surrounding soccer in the US.”
“We are thrilled to have a club like Long Beach FC on board to help support the coverage of schools, teams and even players that might one day play for them,” said the562.org publisher Andy Kerr. “This is a true community partnership.”
