It’s a big day for five Long Beach teams as they compete in the CIF Southern Section semis and quarterfinals. The Long Beach Poly girls’ water polo team is trying to qualify for this weekend’s CIF-SS championship while the other schools are trying to advance to quarterfinals later in the week.

Tuesday, February 18

Boys’ Basketball (Quarterfinals)

Division 2A: Cabrillo vs. Irvine, 7pm

Girls’ Soccer (Quarterfinals)

Division 3: Long Beach Poly at Culver City, 3pm

Division 6: Cabrillo vs. Segerstrom, 5pm

Girls’ Water Polo (Semifinals)

Open Division: Wilson vs. Foothill (Belmont Plaza Pool), 5pm

Division 3: Long Beach Poly vs Flintridge Sacred Heart (Cabrillo HS), 5pm
