It’s another massive day for the Long Beach high school sports world as the boys’ soccer and girls’ basketball teams open up play, with 10 teams in opening round action.

Boys’ Soccer

Division 1: Millikan at Chino Hills, 5pm

Division 4: Long Beach Poly at Ramona, 5pm

Division 5: Wilson vs Hueneme, 5pm

Division 5: Lakewood at El Rancho (Pioneer HS), 7pm FRIDAY

Division 7: St. Anthony at Hawthorne MSA (Marina Ave Park), 3pm

Girls’ Basketball

Division 1: St. Anthony vs. St. Monica Prep, 7pm

Division 2AA: Long Beach Poly vs. Summit, 7pm

Division 2AA: Lakewood vs. Corona Santiago, 7pm

Division 2A: Millikan at Burroughs, 7pm

Division 3AA: Jordan vs. Keppel (Cabrillo), 7pm
