A rescheduling of matches left Millikan and Cabrillo playing each other on Monday and Tuesday. The Rams rolled to a 6-0 win on the road Monday before celebrating Senior Night at home with a 4-1 victory on Tuesday.
Millikan senior captain Juan Vazquez scored twice and assisted on Wylan Gohn’s goal. Gohn also had an assist and Jaycob Alforo-Plasencia also scored.
The win leaves Millikan with a Moore League leading 25 points and a 8-0-1 record. The Rams have outscored their league opponents 35-4. Long Beach Poly (5-1-2, 17 points) is second place with a game against Millikan on Friday. Wilson (3-1-4, 13 points) and Lakewood (3-3-2, 11 points) round out the top four. Cabrillo (2-4-2, 8 points) is fifth.
On Wednesday, Poly hosts Lakewood while Wilson takes on Jordan and Cabrillo faces Compton.
