Helena Vu led Long Beach Poly with 15 points in the Jackrabbits’ win over Wilson, which extended their Moore League win streak to 205 games.
Jonas Oware, Long Beach Poly Basketball
Junior Jonas Oware put up another monster game in Poly’s win over fellow Moore League undefeated Millikan. Oware had 18 points, 16 rebounds, and seven blocks.
Aman Haynes, St. Anthony Basketball
Senior Aman Haynes was the game’s top scorer in St. Anthony’s big win over Serra. Haynes had 22 points in the win for the Saints.
Alexandra Rios, Millikan Soccer
Sophomore Alexandra “Furby” Rios scored Millikan’s goal in the Rams’ 1-0 win over Long Beach Poly, which keeps Millikan in the Moore League title chase.
Reece Haga, Wilson Water Polo
Reece Haga got the game going for Wilson with two goals in the first quarter and ended with a hat trick, one of three Bruins who had a hat trick in their win against the Rams.

Grayson Gilmore kept the clean sheet for the Bruins with a handful of saves in the second half of a 4-0 shutout win over Poly.
