Long Beach Poly (3-5, 3-1) hosts Cabrillo (2-6, 1-3) tonight in the 129th anniversary Homecoming celebration for the Jackrabbits.
Poly looked strong last week in a win over Wilson in a bounceback game after falling to Millikan. Cabrillo has been taking positive steps forward this season but has never beaten the Jackrabbits.
On a historic note, depending on when Veterans Memorial Stadium is taken down and whether or not Poly gets a home game in the playoffs, there’s a chance this could be the Jackrabbits’ last game at their home of the last seven decades.
