After dropping their first four games of the season in a tough preseason schedule, the St. Anthony Saints are now looking for their fourth straight win while hosting Salesian on Friday at 7pm.
The Saints (3-4, 2-0) are looking to get themselves up to .500 for the first time this season in a game between the only unbeaten teams through DelRay League play. Salesian (4-3, 2-0) comes into the game ranked No. 274 according to Maxpreps while St. Anthony sits at 359.
St. Anthony is coming off of two huge wins against Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary and La Salle, combining for 85 points split between the two games. The Saints are led by QB Aidan Jones and senior standout WR Jasiah Lolesio-Pua while senior RB Nate Martinez will get the bulk of the load in the run game.
Salesian comes into the game having not given up a single point through their first two league games. RB J’ Anthony Cobb leads their rushing attack and has stacked up a team-high 11 touchdowns this season while senior Ayden Ramirez has collected seven receiving touchdowns. Signaling calls for the Mustangs is QB Cameron Crutcher.
