The Millikan girls’ golf team made history this week by clinching its first ever undefeated Moore League championship. The Rams defeated both Cabrillo and Long Beach Poly over the last three days to finish the regular season with an 8-0 league record. The league individual tournament starts next week.
On Tuesday, Millikan beat Cabrillo 238-322 at Skylinks Golf Course while freshman Jasmine Lim earned the medalist honor by shooting 43. Dayanara Martinez was the low finisher for Cabrillo with a 56.
On Thursday, Millikan finished the regular season with a 238-259 win over Poly at El Dorado Park Golf Course. Junior Hailey Stoskopf (43) was the low finisher for the Rams and Poly freshman Lauren Fearence shot a 37 to take the medalist honor.
The final round of the league individual tournament is Thursday (Oct. 24) at Skylinks.
