Anthony League, Millikan Football
Millikan running back Anthony League turned in a night to remember against Long Beach Poly last Friday, leading the Rams to a win that snapped the second-longest league win streak in California history. League piled up 258 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Kade Casillas, Lakewood Football
Lakewood quarterback Kade Casillas threw six touchdowns against Jordan last week to snag a 56-6 win for the Lancers. The six touchdowns is believed to be a school record by the Lancers’ coaching staff.
Emma Holder, Long Beach Poly Volleyball
Long Beach Poly senior Emma Holder had 10 kills to lead Long Beach Poly to a sweep of Millikan last week. The Jackrabbits’ win over the Rams gave them their outright first league title since 2019.
Keegan Abing, Wilson Water Polo
Wilson’s Keegan Abing scored twice and dished out three assists in the first half of Wilson’s win over Millikan last week, which moves the Bruins one step closer to a Moore League championship.
Nyemah King, Lakewood Flag Football
Long Beach Poly defeated Lakewood last week to clinch another Moore League flag football championship, but Lakewood’s Nyemah King was an impressive standout with a pair of interceptions on defense and both Lancers touchdowns on offense.

Madi Maxwell, Long Beach State Volleyball
Freshman Madi Maxwell turned in an excellent showing last week as she averaged 3.00 kills per set, while hitting .333. She also added 2.57 digs per set, 0.71 aces per set, and 0.71 assists per set on her way to notching her first collegiate double-double.
