It is the tale of two cities, as Cabrillo (2-3, 1-1) hosts Lakewood (3-3, 1-1) on Friday night in the Westside.
After gaining their first Moore League win since 2019 against Compton, the Jaguars are looking to keep that positive energy. Senior Jaguars mentioned how despite their first win, they are “hungry” for another one.
As for Lakewood, the Lancers need a bounce back game after allowing 47 unanswered points against the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits.
In last year’s contest, Lakewood defeated Cabrillo 55-7. The last time the Jaguars beat the Lancers was in 2017, in a tight 13-10 ball game.
Kick-off is at 7 p.m. at Cabrillo High School.
