The LBCC football team was excited to try and even their record up at 2-2 this Saturday, as the Vikings were slated to host San Bernardino Valley College at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Vikings did end up evening their record, but not the way they wanted to, as SBVC ended up forfeiting the game due to not being able to field a team.
SBVC had lost both of its first two games of the year 65-0, with officials shortening their game last week for health and safety reasons. The team was outgained 257 yards to three last week, and had a low number of players healthy and available at practice this week.
LBCC will travel to Cerritos College next week on Oct. 5 at 6pm.
