It’s football season in Long Beach, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The city has the most talent it’s had in a decade suiting up next week, and football fans around Southern California have already circled the October 11th game between Long Beach Poly and Millikan as one of the best games anywhere this year. We’re expecting a competitive Moore League and successful seasons for those teams as well as new-look at St. Anthony under the CIF Southern Section’s competitive equity playoff format.

We’ve got full articles and preview videos as well as schedules and projected starters for every high school as well as a look at LBCC, which doesn’t get started until next month.

Thanks to our cover guys: Antonio Elam (Cabrillo), Francis Madera (Compton), Troy “TW” Crozier (LBCC), Jarret Nielsen (Jordan), Caleb Tafua (Lakewood), Jessie Wishon (Millikan), Ezekiel Orozco (Long Beach Poly), Kaden Draper (Wilson), and Nathan Martinez (St. Anthony).
