Summer ball is in full swing for Long Beach baseball players.
The Dodgers Dreamteam is a “comprehensive sports-based youth development program that uses the power of sport to provide critical resources and services to communities who are experiencing social injustices,” according to MLB.com.
Three Moore League players will be representing the Dodgers Dreamteam in the RBI World Series. The team will play at the Jackie Robinson Training Facility in Vero Beach, Florida in the coming week.
Malakai Pruitt from Long Beach Poly, Julian Tene from Millikan and Russell Centanni from Wilson are Long Beach’s Moore League representatives. St. Anthony’s Jaylen Butler will also be playing in for the Dodgers Dreamteam.
