Twenty-Three Long Beach Entries Will Compete at CIF State Track Finals Tonight

The562’s cross country and track & field coverage is sponsored by an anonymous donation, in appreciation of Coach Ron Allice.

It was mostly a strong day of qualifying at the CIF State Track and Field prelims last night, setting up for what should be a really fun Saturday, with 23 local entries competing in tonight’s CIF State Track Finals in Clovis, CA. We’re live on the scene and will have live updates beginning at 430pm–Wilson are the favorites on the girls’ side while Poly will look to compete on the boys’ team race.
