Millikan and Lakewood girls’ soccer renewed The Battle of the Blueprint rivalry on Thursday night as the Rams hit the road to hand the Lancers a 9-0 defeat. Millikan improved to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in the Moore League.
Junior Emily Frost led the Rams charge with two goals and two assists. Millikan freshman Alexandra Rios also scored twice and provided an assist while senior Alissey Fang chipped in two assists and a goal. The Rams got goals from seven different players.
It is the first loss of the year for Lakewood (3-1-1; 1-1-1) and the Lancers face Godinez on Saturday.
Millikan begins Best in the West Tournament play with matches against Pacifica and Citrus Valley on Saturday.
