Last season was another historically successful one for multiple Moore League teams, and there’s a lot of new faces around the city who will try to keep that positive momentum going.
Wilson is the obvious frontrunner, having won 16 of the last 17 Moore League titles and reaching the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship game, while schools like Long Beach Poly, Millikan and Lakewood are looking to make another deep postseason run.
Moore League play begins on Dec. 20 at Cabrillo for the annual showcase. Wilson will face Millikan and Poly will take on Lakewood before Cabrillo hosts Jordan.
