The Beach erased a 13-point halftime deficit to lead briefly in the final minute, but the Matadors are currently clinging to a 3-point lead thanks to a triple by Jenna Kilty at the buzzer.
Freshman Ashley Hernandez bumped up a weight class and came away with a decisive pin to help Millikan defeat Wilson.

The Matadors with a new season best for points in a half as they've knocked the Beach on their heels shooting over 51 percent from the floor. LBSU meanwhile is below 28 percent so far.
CSUN leads Long Beach State 19-16 after the first quarter
The Matadors made 6 of their first 9 shots to jump out to an early lead, but the Beach closed the quarter on an 8-2 run fueled by Savannah Tucker scoring all 8 of her points
