Long Beach Wilson’s home opener couldn’t have come at a better time. After a couple tough losses to start the Bruins will be back in action looking to gain some momentum before starting Moore League play.
The Bruins (0-2) offense found some things that worked last week and will look to continue to make strides forward when they host California (0-3).
Wilson’s sophomore Mack Cooper tossed his first touchdown last week and will look to continue to gain some confidence against the Condors who have been outscored 123-35 in their three losses.
Wilson will look to get senior Christian Chapman to keep some balance for the offense.
California is led by senior quarterback Daniel Torres who has 330 yards passing and wideout Jonathan Castillo who leads the Condors with 140 yards receiving.
