Jordan has an interesting challenge and a chance to get healthy tonight when the Panthers host George Washington Prep. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
After dominating North Torrance in the season opener, and surviving a close game at Peninsula last week, Jordan can improve to 3-0 for the second straight season. The Panthers did so last year by beating Fairfax 34-0, and coach Jon Nielsen says George Washington Prep reminds him of that Fairfax team.
Jordan will be without the services of senior running back Jordan Washington, who suffered an injury last week and missed most of that game at Peninsula.
George Washington Prep (0-1) lost to Hollywood last week 35-28. The Generals haven’t had a losing season since 2019.
