Wilson’s Alyson Sor and Sammy Shaw advanced through to the second round of CIF Southern Section playoffs with stellar rounds on Tuesday at Los Serranos Golf Club.
Sor is fresh off her third Moore League title and shot an even-par round at Los Serranos to tie for ninth place.
Shaw made the turn at five-over par, which would have missed the cut, but she went 3-under par with four birdies in her last eight holes. Shaw finished 2-over par in 12th place.
The second round of the CIF-SS individual playoffs is at Western Hills CC next Thursday.
