Aujane Luckey, Wilson Track & Field
Wilson’s Aujane Luckey won the only gold medal for Long Beach at last weekend’s CIF Southern Section Masters Meet. Luckey won the 400 in 53.88 also qualified for State in the 200.
Jaelen Knox, Long Beach Poly Track & Field
Long Beach Poly senior Jaelen Knox was a double-qualifier at last weekend’s CIF Southern Section Masters Meet, finishing second in the 200 and fifth in the 100 to qualify for State in both events.
Jordan Washington, Jordan Track & Field
Jordan sophomore phenom Jordan Washington continues to make history as the school’s best male sprinter; Washington qualified for State in both sprints as he finished second in the 100 and third in the 200.

Juaron Watts-Brown, Dirtbags Baseball
The redshirt freshman threw seven innings, securing the series victory over rival Cal State Fullerton. He struck out 11, marking the third time he has recorded double-digit strikeouts in his last four outings.
