This is a special day for Long Beach baseball as the premier Moore League doubleheader returns to Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. Undefeated Millikan and Wilson will battle for first place at 3:30 p.m., with second-place Poly and Lakewood going at it at 6:30 p.m.
The senior class of baseball players in the Moore League is as good as it’s been in years, with every team rolling out Division 1 athletes as presumed starters today. Dirtbags signee Myles Patton will take the bump for Millikan against Cal Poly signee Charlie Royle for Wilson. In the nightcap, UCSD signee Anthony Eyanson will face off with Poly star Ryan Skjonsby.
