The Long Beach Poly girls’ basketball team is hosting a CIF-SS Division 1 semifinal this evening at 7 p.m., as they welcome in Viewpoint to the Ron Palmer Pavilion. The Jackrabbits are playing in defense of their Division 1 title from last year, and would earn a spot in Saturday’s championship game with a win. If Poly advances, they’d face the winner of Chaminade and Camarillo; Poly would travel to Chaminade and host Camarillo.
