Long Beach Poly’s Misha Hebert scored the game-winner for the Jackrabbits in the second-half of a 2-1 win over Wilson last week. The win keeps Poly in the title hunt behind Millikan and Wilson.
David Huerta, Long Beach Poly Soccer
Long Beach Poly and the rest of the Moore League are chasing Wilson this year in the boys’ soccer title hunt, and Poly stayed at the front of the chase pack with a 2-1 win over Millikan, thanks to David Huerta’s PK game-winner.
Cole Worden, Wilson Soccer
Wilson is undefeated and the class of the Moore League so far this year. The Bruins remained perfect in league with a win over Jordan last week, 3-0. Cole Worden scored twice in the victory for Wilson.

Maddi Uti, Long Beach State Basketball
Long Beach State senior Maddi Utti claimed her second Big West Player of the Week honors Monday after averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per game to lead Long Beach State last week.
