Millikan and Long Beach Poly’s girls’ tennis teams both won their playoff openers on Tuesday, as they hosted CIF-SS Wild Card matches.
The Rams defeated Fullerton 10-8 in Division 3 and will advance to face Whitney in the first round on Wednesday.
Long Beach Poly took down St. Joseph 15-3 in Division 4 to advance to face Jurupa Valley in the first round on Wednesday.
Wilson will be the only team at home, hosting Saugus on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
In Division 4, Lakewood lost their Wild Card match with Bishop Montgomery 14-4.
