Men’s Basketball
LBSU (2-4) set season highs in points scored, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage in the 93-62 victory over Division II Fresno Pacific (0-5) last weekend, but then lost at No. 14 Arizona 104-67 two days later.
The Beach will play three games at Honda Center in Anaheim this weekend as part of the Wooden Legacy tournament. LBSU will open the tournament on Thanksgiving morning at 11 a.m. against Providence. The Beach will then face either Wake Forest or College of Charleston on Friday, and play the final game on Sunday. Those games times will be announced on Friday.
LBSU Men’s Water Polo
The Beach made a run to the Golden Coast Conference Tournament final last weekend, but fell to host Pepperdine 14-12 in the championship game. LBSU beat San Jose State and Pacific before falling to the Waves.
Senior Austin Stewart was named to the Golden Coast Conference All-Tournament team after scoring 10 goals in the tournament, including four in both the semifinals and finals. He became just the third player in school history to score more than 200 career goals.

LBSU Women’s Volleyball
Senior Hailey Harward had 10 digs in the season finale defeat at Hawaii last weekend, which left her three digs shy of being tied for third place on the LBSU career-digs list. She finishes with 1,575 in her career.
LBSU Women’s Basketball
The Beach (1-4) lost both of its games last week against Utah State and Loyola Marymount. Senior Cydnee Kinslow had 13 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, and three assists against Utah State. Against LMU, redshirt sophomore Ma’Qhi Berry set a new career-high with 22 points, while sophomore Justina King led the squad with a season-high 23 points.
LBSU is also on a road for a holiday tournament. The Beach will take on Penn State on Friday at 3:15 p.m. in Berkeley as part of the Cal Classic, and then LBSU will play a second tournament game on Saturday afternoon.
