It’s the fifth anniversary of the biggest blowout in Moore League history, when Long Beach Poly defeated Compton 99-9 in a game that drew national attention and controversy for its lopsided score.
While it’s not likely that there will be a similar result when the Jackrabbits (4-3, 3-0) visit Compton (4-3, 1-2), this is always a game that has some big storylines. Poly is trying to continue to improve to make a playoff run, while Compton is trying to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot.
