The Avalon Lancers 8-man football team has four Express League games left to finish the season, and that all starts tonight at home against Calvary Chapel Downey. Kickoff on Catalina is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Avalon (2-3, 1-0) dropped a disappointing contest against Flintridge Prep last week 53-42 but continued to put up huge offensive numbers. The Lancers are averaging 47 points and 439 yards per game this season.
Calvary Chapel (4-2, 1-1) has a strong and balanced rushing attack that is averaging 9.7 yards per carry with 23 touchdowns this season.
