It’s a regional rivalry clash tonight as Jordan visits Rancho Dominguez Prep in a meeting of two schools separated by only five miles.
Jordan (1-0) is trying to get to 2-0 after an impressive start to the season at Katella, which saw Jaylon Morgan score three touchdowns and establish himself as a legitimate offensive force. The Panthers won their season debut for the first time since 2012, and are trying to start 2-0 tonight for the first time since 2008, when current Lakewood coach Scott Meyer was at Jordan.
They’ll need to contend with the Lobos if they want to stay undefeated. RDP is playing in its first game of the season and the Lobos will want to defend their home turf.
