After a winless 2017, the Jordan football program got off to a fast start last season, winning three of their first four games. The Panthers will try to get 2019 kicked off in a similar fashion tonight as they visit La Palma Kennedy at 7 p.m.
Kennedy finds itself in about the same stage of the rebuilding process as Jordan, having gone 2-8 two years ago and 3-7 last year, and a strong performance in the lower-level games on Thursday has Jordan optimistic about their chances tonight.
The Panthers will travel to Rancho Dominguez Prep next week for their second game.
