While Lakewood and Wilson both advanced in the CIF Southern Section softball playoffs on Thursday, the rest of the Moore League and St. Anthony were unable to make it past the first round.

The Rams (17-11) fell behind in the third inning and couldn’t score until late in this loss on the road.

St. Anthony 5, Godinez 14
The Saints (16-8) had a 4-2 lead in the top of the fourth inning, but Godinez answered with five runs in the bottom of the frame to take the lead for good.
DIVISION 5
LB Poly 2, Grace Brethren 6
The Jackrabbits (9-10) couldn’t win a second road playoff game this week after winning their wild card showdown on Tuesday.
