In a game that’s expected to draw a huge crowd to the Walter Pyramid, the No. 1 Long Beach State men’s volleyball team will host No. 4 UCLA at 7 p.m. on Saturday in another highly-anticipated rematch of last year’s NCAA title game.
The two teams played earlier this year, with Long Beach sweeping the Bruins in Pauley Pavilion.
The meeting pits two of the top three offenses in the nation by hitting percentage against one another, as Long Beach State’s Josh Tuaniga and UCLA’s Mica Ma’a continue to prove themselves the college game’s best setters.
The university is giving away team posters at the game, and Long Beach will be on the court afterwards to sign them.
