The St. Anthony Saints (1-5) start the new Del Rey League on the road tonight at 7:30 against Harvard-Westlake.
St. Anthony coach Mario Morales said his team is still banged up with multiple injuries, but expects to get a few starters back on both sides of the ball. The Saints got their first win two weeks ago against Gahr, but last to Agoura last week.
“They are a very good team,” Morales said of Harvard-Westlake. “We feel this is a big game in terms of us potentially making the playoffs.”
Harvard-Westlake (3-3) has wins over Crespi, Burroughs and Salesian. The Wolverines are in CIF-SS Division 5, and the Saints are in Division 7.
